Aglow morning tea
Aglow International Australia, Mittagong branch, an Interdenominational Christian group, invites interested people to join them for morning tea and a talk in an atmosphere of friendship, love and acceptance on the third Wednesday of every month at the Community Centre. The next gathering is on May 17 at the corner of Queen St/Albert Lane, Mittagong, at 10am.

Coffee and crafts
Moss Vale CWA will hold its next Coffee and Craft morning on May 17, at the CWA rooms, 66 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale. Rose Society
The next meeting of the Southern Highlands Regional Rose Society will be held on May 20 at the CWA rooms in Winifred West Park, Old Hume Highway, Mittagong from 1pm for a 1.30pm start. Guest speaker will be Paul Kirkpatrick from Estate Gardening, who will give a presentation on “Presenting the Rose” – how roses are presented in parks and gardens around the world. Concert
Enjoy a musical afternoon with the versatile and eclectic pianist John Martin on Saturday, May 20 at 3 pm at The Rose Music Room, 51F Sunninghill Avenue, Burradoo. John is a familiar musician to concert goers and listeners of Australia’s classical radio networks. He will perform works by Sydney composer Mark John McEncroe, and local composer Ann Carr-Boyd. Welsh Choir in Moss Vale
The Welsh Choir of Wollongong will perform at the Moss Vale Uniting Church on the corner of Argyle and Spring Streets on May 21 from 2pm. Entry is by donation and the concert will finish with some community singing. Refreshments are included and will be served after the concert.
Ukulele group
The Mittagong Seniors' Club invites interested people to join its combined ukulele groups' concert on May 23 from 10am. This will be held at the centre in Queen Street, Mittagong, next to the Library. Morning tea will be provided.
Bushwalk
Southern Highlands Bushwalkers Inc will head to Wombat Lookout at Meryla on May 21. This walk will follow a path to Wombat Trig and Rebecca’s View offering views over Kangaroo Valley. It is mostly fire trail with some off-track walking and covers about 15 kilometres. Details: Brett on 4872 2182.
Margaret lunch
Do you have the name Margaret, Margo, Maggie, Marge or any other version of these names?
