Three windows at the Moss Vale Country Women’s Association (CWA) branch rooms were smashed by objects thrown through them and into the building.
Branch president Jennifer Bowe said the floor inside the building was also damaged by shards of glass.
The vandalism took place between the afternoon of Sunday, April 23 and the morning of Tuesday, April 25.
“Although we have insurance, there’s $1000 excess which we’ll need to come up with to have the windows replaced and floor fixed,” Ms Bowe said.
“That’s money that will be taken away from all the work we do locally.”
Moss Vale CWA branch regularly supports Highlands charities, not-for-profit organisations, nearby schools, disability services and the community gardens.
The incident is being investigated by police. Anyone with information should contact Bowral Police on 4862 9299.
