The Southern Highlands Antiques and Collectables Fair is back for its 30th year, and it is a drawcard for novice and serious collectors.
Antiques dealer and organiser Mick Dalton said the group dealers would come with their own displays and stalls which will cater for all tastes and incomes.
“There will be items from the smallest timble to the grandest Victorian chest,” he said.
“Prices are competitive and the range of items for sale is enormous, enabling customers to view many different dealers all together under one roof, instead of travelling to twenty different establishments.”
The fair is a major fundraiser for the Bowral and District Hospital Auxiliary, and members will provide light lunches and teas, as well as stalls with cakes, biscuits, jams and raffle tickets.
Mr Dalton said the dealers endeavoured to supply as much information as possible to help the collector.
“Georgian and Victorian jewellery, English and European porcelain, silver, glass, linen, lamps, collectables and furniture, both rustic and traditional will be displayed with great care and pride,” he said.
The Southern Highlands Antiques and Collectables Fair will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm on May 6 and 10.00am to 4.00pm May 7.
Admission is $9 per adult and includes entry to the lucky door prize. The fair will be held at the Bowral Memorial Hall, Bendooley Street, Bowral.
