SBS show Small Business Secrets recently visited the region to find Highlands talent for the show.

Bernies Diner, Willo Industries and Holiday Rental Specialists will be among the businesses featured on the show on June 4 and 11.

The show also spoke to Wombat Hollow owner Michael Yabsley and Wingecarribee mayor Ken Halstead.

Filming took place in early April.

Will Clarke launched Willlo Industries in 2016.

Will, who has autism, recycles old cricket bats. His mum Ange said it was a complete surprise when they were contacted by SBS.

“We were really excited to be contacted and for them to show a strong interest in the story,” she said.

Will has set up his business at Kazcare and has been refurbishing the old train there for a workshop and gallery.

Highlands Holiday Rentals manages properties across Australia and is owned and operated by Martin Blencowe and Rebecca Cribbin.

Ms Cribbin said it was a great opportunity to showcase their business and part of their success had been training and keeping the right staff.

“This year more than 72,000 guests will stay at the properties we manage and our owners will gross more than $12 million in income,” Ms Cribbin said.

“We are a specialist organisation that takes all the hassles away from investors.”

Small Business Secrets airs Sunday afternoons at 5pm.
