Bowral, who were section one leaders, had a nightmare trip to Crookwell on Saturday April 22.
The Highlands team came away with three rink losses, with Crookwell scoring 70 shots against Bowral’s 48 shots.
Russell Knight, Jim Neely, Stephen Della and Garry Brown lost to Crookwell 20-19.
Crookwell got away to a big start and lead 13-2 after eight ends.
Bowral came back into the match and managed to close there deficit to two points with a 20-18 score.
On the last end Bowral only managed to pick up one shot, which lead them to a one point loss.
Ken Handley, Dennis Beatty, Dougal Braithwaite and Michael Armstrong lost to Crookwell 23-13.
Crookwell held an 8-6 lead early in the match.
The second half of the match was all Crookwell, who came away with a 10 shot win.
Greg Taylor, Russell Fahey, Josh Woodcock and Ashley Lewis lost to Crookwell 27-16.
Bowral led 10-3 after five ends. Crookwell stormed back and won the match by 11 shots.
