Grab your pooches and set yourself the goal to fight animal cruelty with an inaugural challenge.

The Million Paws Challenge is the lead up to the Million Paws Walk, where participants are motivated to walk one million paws (steps) with their dog.

RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman said while a million paws may sound unachieveable, it really equated to a 30-minute walk morning and night.

To date, the Million Paws Walk has raised $63,039 to fight animal cruelty in NSW and $191,211 nationally.

You can harness paw power from April 20 to May 20, until the Million Paws Walk on May 21.
