The Southern Highlands Hawks will start the season on Sunday, April 2.
The club will be lucky enough to play their first games at home-ground Loseby Park.
The Hawks will face off against South Coast team, Kiama Power.
The day will begin with under-9s kicking off at 9am. The under-11s and Auskickers will play at 10am.
The Southern Highlands Hawks JAFC participates in the Illawarra AFL competition and fields teams in under-9s, 11s and Auskick.
The game of AFL is at the heart of the Southern Highlands Hawks JAFC, and club president Steve Fitzgerald said the club has very close, family feel.
“The Hawks are a family club that welcomes players of all abilities,” he said.
AFL is an easy game to pick up and our focus is ensuring that kids have a great time and learn the importance of playing in a team whilst improving their fitness and coordination.”
The Southern Highlands Hawks JAFC has invited all those who want to try AFL for the first time to register for the 2017 season.
