More than 30 preschool-aged children were invited to the school to take part in their Teddy Bears Picnic.
Teacher Sarah Daniels said the children played games and songs with the giant parachute, made teddy headbands, listened to stoires and were able to dress a teddy family using the school’s interactive television.
“All our guests were then treated to a massive bears feast in our teddy den,” she said.
“Each special guest was sent home with honey pots donated by one of our school captains Lachlan, who harvested the honey and bottled it for all our guests.”
Many of the children came from Bambinos Kindergarten, Bowral.
Ms Daniels said she couldn’t wait to see all the guests again at the National Simultaneous Storytime on May 24 at 11.00am, where they will be reading The Cow Tripped Over The Moon.
