A full court press got their offence firing on all cylinders as they racked up an impressive 30 points for the quarter, to take a commanding 57-38 lead at three-quarter time.
Penrith fought back strongly in the last quarter as the Magic experimented with some different combinations. However Penrith were unable to get closer than 10 points as the Magic kept them at bay.
It was a real team effort from the Magic with strong contributions from the entire squad. There were nine scorers and four of those players made double figures.
Top scorers for the Magic were Zac Ottosson with a game high 22 points, followed by Rhys Pryor with 12 points, Billy Campbell with 11 points and Josh Watts, who 10 points in his strongest performance of the season so far.
Moss Vale Magic joined the Newcastle Hunters as the only undefeated teams at the top of the ladder after four rounds of the competition.
