Whether it’s a skateboard, scooter or BMX, if you’ve got talent then bring it! To Bowral Skate Park, that is.
Highlands Youth Services will hold its annual Skateboard, Scooter and BMX Competition for 12-18 year olds on April 1.
Registrations start at 9.30am for the drug and alcohol-free event.
Participants must have a waiver signed by their parents, and must have a helmet.
The event has a ‘no helmet, no ride’ policy, whether competing or not.
There will be a free sausage sizzle on the day, with live music and a stack of prizes.
The event runs from approximately 10am to 2pm. It may be cancelled in the event of wet weather, so keep an eye on the Facebook page www.facebook.com/Highlandsyc
The competition will kick off a celebration of youth in the Highlands in time for National Youth Week. It’s funded by NSW Clubs Grants and will be run by Skater HQ staff.
