The Southern Highlands Kennel and Obedience Club have prepared something special for their 2017 Brigadoon performance.
Trainer Vickey Hunter said the crowd should expect something special.
“It’a a bit of a secret, so I won’t give away too much, but 14 of our dogs will perform a special routine to music on the day,” she said.
Many breeds will be represented in the demonstration, including border collies, German and Australian shepherds, and golden retrievers.
Ms Hunter said she had her fingers crossed that the dogs would behave according to plan.
“So far all our group rehearsals have been washed out,” she said.
“They’re all off-lead and well-behaved, but we do have one naughty dog who does what he wants – but that’s dogs sometimes.”
There will also be a small show featuring six puppies and first-timers to show where the dogs begin their training, and inform owners how they can get started with obedience.
The Southern Highlands Kennel and Obedience Club have performed at Brigadoon for the past five years.
They will be situated near the cricket nets on Bundanoon Oval, and their performance will begin at 11.30am on April 1.
