Fr Chris Riley’s Youth off the Streets op shop will hold an end of season clearance sale from March 27. There will be plenty of bargains on offer in the week-long sale including clothing, sporting goods household items and collectables. It is well worth a visit for the chance to bag a bargain. All funds raised goes to the ongoing work of Youth off the Streets. The op shop will be open from 9.30am each day and will continue for one week only.

CWA meeting
Moss Vale CWA will hold its monthly meeting on March 31 at its rooms at 66 Elizabeth Street, Moss Vale, from 12.45pm for 1.00pm. All are welcome to the 91st anniversary gathering. Details: Jennifer on 4862 3454 or 0418 600 068.
Sing-along
Mittagong Uniting Church will hold its next sing-along on March 27 from 1.30pm. This will be held at the church in Albert Street, Mittagong. Come along and be entertained by Ian Woolfe on guitar. View Club tea party
The Southern Highlands Evening View Club will hold a fundraiser in the form of a garden party high tea on March 29. This will be held at Greenwood a property located at 15 Kimberley Drive, Bowral, which is the home of the club president Jan Scott. The day will include a fashion parade featuring outfits from Highland Land in Moss Vale. Prizes are also up for grabs in a raffle which features a variety of great items donated by several Highlands businesses. The events begins at midday with high tea served at 12.15pm and the parade at 1.30pm. Details: Jan on 4861 7101.
Harvest Festival
A harvest festival service will be held at the Christ Church Bong Bong, Church Road, Moss Vale on April 2 from 11am. It will take the form of a traditional thanksgiving service. The church will be decorated, there will be light refreshments following the service and the opportunity to take a closer look at one of the Highlands most historic churches.
First Fleeters
The next meeting of the Fellowship of First Fleeters Southern Highlands chapter will be on April 12. Graham Wilcox, an amateur genealogist and family historian will be the guest speaker. Copies of his book will be available at the meeting which will start at 10.30am. The meeting will be held at the Mittagong Community Centre. A $5 admission donation includes morning tea. National Park walk
Southern Highlands Bushwalkers Inc will step out in Dharawal National Park on April 2. The trek will feature the Stokes Creek area with a short section off track. Details: Jenny B on 4681 9992 or 0447 185 128.
CWA Evening Branch
Southern Highlands Evening Branch, CWA NSW will be hold its next meeting on April 6 at Mittagong CWA Rooms, Winifred West Park, Mittagong, at 6.30pm. Guest speaker will be Rare Cancers Australia representative. The club will also hold a movie premiere fundraiser of Their Finest - a British comedy set in WW2 at Empire Cinema, Bowral, from 6.00pm on April 20. Tickets available from the Empire Cinema, Bowral, and are $25.00.
