On Saturday, March 25 the Hawks will debut a number of their AFL Auskickers at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the annual half time game.
During the half time break in a Sydney Swans match, a game of Auskick will take place.
This Saturday will mark round one of the AFL competition, with the Sydney Swans playing Port Adelaide.
Selected clubs have been invited to participate in this game which has been a tradition for the younger AFL players for some time now.
The invitation for the Hawks to play is another indication that the AFL sees the Highlands as a rapidly growing area for the national code.
Playing on the sacred turf of the SCG at half time will be an experience of a lifetime for the young players.
Club President, Steve Fitzgerald has reminded parents to sign up for Auskick so their child can be eligible for this once in a lifetime experience.
