The wet weather wasn’t enough to keep the Bowral men’s pennant side off the green on March 18.

But the undefeated grade six Bowral men’s side unfortunately lost their winning streak on Saturday.

Bowral played Taralga at home and failed in all three rinks.

Taralga took a strong 76-40 win over the home team.

Noel Fraser, Keith Edwards, Hayden Dodwell and Kevin Stafford lost to Taralga 24-16.

Bowral led 7-0 after three ends but weren’t able to carry their lead throughout the rest of the match.

Neil Lewis, David chambers, Mick Flynn and Gordon Lewis were defeated 26-16.

After five ends the scores were locked at 5-5 but it was all Taralga who took a ten shot win.

Jack Tonkin, Bob Edwards, Bill Meredith and Bruce Clynes lost their match 28-10.

Bowrals top pennant grade had their match cancelled at Campbelltown owing to the weather conditions.
