Annette Luyken has been volunteering at the show for 35 years, and now her contribution has been officially recognised.
Ms Luyken started out working with the greyhounds on the track.
“I worked my way up to greyhound secretary and then liaison officer between the greyhound association and the show society,” she said.
“Then I joined and have been here ever since.”
Ms Luyken has undertaken all sorts of jobs, including market manager, catering manager, assistant secretary and running the pet show.
“The pet show was my favourite, I’ll still come back to watch,” she said.
“I’ve loved helping over the years, and meeting people has been wonderful.”
Ms Luyken was awarded her life membership by Goulburn MP Pru Goward.
