It’s been almost four months since the business at Station Street was damaged in a fire that broke out at neighbouring site Reekies Tyres and More.
The fire completely gutted Reekies and spread to the roof of the veterinary practice, where it made its way through the air conditioning system and caused significant damage to the building’s interior.
Not wanting to let their loyal customers down, team members made house calls and served customers out of a temporary office space at the Milk Factory in Bowral.
Bowral Veterinary Hospital senior partner and veterinarian Grant Poolman said he was pleased to have the full team back on board.
“There’s a new ceiling, air-con vents, floor, fittings, shelving and paint – it’s basically completely refurbished,” he said.
Box-carrying extraordinaire Hugo Hayes, just two years old, helped the team unpack last week. Visit them at 78 Station Street, Bowral.
