Mr Personality? Or Mr Personality disorder? Find out in Woody Allen's madcap mockumentary about an identity crisis of hilarious proportions.
The Bea Cinémathèque Sunday Afternoon Cinema at CTC@Robertson will be held on February 19.
This black and white movie fundraiser is a blast from the past.
It tells the story of Leonard Zelig (Woody Allen), a social quick-change artist whose neurotic insecurity forces him to mimic - mentally and physically - whomever he's with.
Treated by Dr Eudora Fletcher (Mia Farrow), Zelig is slowly cured.
In the process he goes from side-show freak to national celebrity - to Eudora's fiance.
But when misdeeds from Zelig's multiple-personality past start to surface (larceny, bigamy and an unauthorised appendectomy), the human chameleon is on the run again.
Eudora is left to search the world over to find - and save the only man who's every man she's ever wanted.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 children.
All interested people are welcome to join in the afternoon however bookings are recommended.
They can be made by email, phone or online at www.trybooking.com/ORPM
The event kicks off at 1.30pm at the Community Technology Centre at 58-60 Hoddle, Street, Robertson.
Tea and coffee available.
