The zone five state senior pairs continued at Bowral on Sunday, February 12.

Noel Fraser and Jim Neely from Bowral had a top win over R Patane And K Zynal from Camden, holding on for a 17-16 win in the morning game.

Bowral lead 14-6 after 11 ends, from then on it was Camden playing the better bowls.

With one end to play the scores were locked at 16-16.

Bowral scored one shot on the last end and secured a victory. 

On Sunday afternoon Noel Fraser and Jim Neely lost their quarter-final match to Bob Lang and John Enesby, from Picton, 22-17.

This game was always tight and after 18 ends, Picton led 17-16.

Rain set in during the match and stopped the game for 15 minutes.

When the game resumed Picton went on to a five shot victory. The rain delay proved costly for Bowral.

​State open pairs reuslts:

Greg Taylor and Ashley Lewis lost to Campbelltown City 21-10. 

Garry Brown and Mick Armstrong lost to Austral 20-16.
