The Plugged at the Pool event was held on a hot Friday the 13th and featured Highlands performers.
Council youth liasion officer Michelle Williams said the pool party gave musicians the chance to experience an audience.
“Apart from showcasing some of our shire’s amazing talent, these types of events are also an opportunity for our young artists to get a taste of what may be their first live audience,” she said.
Council’s Whale Tail pool toy was also in the pool as an extra source of entertainment.
Lille and Brooke kicked off the entertainment at 3.00pm, before handing over to Lauren Amber. T Dub Dub then took the stage at 4.15pm, followed by Maddy at 4.30pm and Angel at 5.00pm. The live music was rounded out by One Ended Stick at 5.30pm.
The event was run by Wingecarribee Shire Council with Highlands Community Centres. Their next combined event is Dive In, a movie night at the Bowral Swimming Centre.
The movie night will be held January 21 from 6.15pm, and screening of the film Independence Day: Resurgence will begin at 8.00pm.
Cost is $8, which includes sausage sizzle, drinks and entertainment. This alcohol and drug-free event will be supervised.
