Kiara Rochaix travelled to the UK as part of the Australian All Schools Soccer Team.
Kiara was selected as part of the under-19 side after a star performance at the New South Wales all schools tournament last year in Perth.
The team will play matches in in Ireland, Scotland England and Wales. Scouts and representatives from various universities and premier league teams will be present at the games, and will be making selections for overseas teams.
Kiara will be the goalkeeper for the side and prior to her departure, said she hoped to be selected for an international team.
“It’s what I want to do, I will have to play at my very best and remain confident,” she said.
The Australian team will play a number of games over a three week competition period.
