The practice adapted after a fire at neighbouring business Reekies Tyres and More caused damage to the veterinary hospital. Senior partner Grant Poolman said his team had gone mobile.
“We’re based out of an office at the Milk Factory in Bowral – funnily enough it’s the one with the cow on top of it,” he said.
Those in need of special diets, flea treatments, regular antibiotics or heart medicines for their pets can visit the temporary space.
Meanwhile, the vets are making home visits to furry friends and their families across the Highlands.
“For routine injections and other treatments we’ll go to our clients – we won’t be charging house call rates, just as if they came in to see us,” Mr Poolman said.
The vets are rostered to ensure each area of the Highlands has at least one visit per week. To book, call 4861 1444.
