Learn about the Australian bush and the animals who live there at Wirrimbirra Sanctuary.
The first Lunch ‘n’ Learn session will focus on the unique platypus, including a look at a platypus burrow and castings of body parts.
The educational experience will be led by Dr Tom Grant, who has more than 30 years of researching this nocturnal creature.
A beef and lamb smorgasbord will be provided. Bookings are essential, so call 4684 1112 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Lunch ‘n’ Learn session will be held January 28 from 12.00pm, and costs $25 per person, or $12 per child under the age of 12.
If you wish to stay, a Walkabout After Dark will also take place from 6.30pm through the sanctuary gardens.
