Sailors spent the weekend competing in round eight of the Commodores Cup at Fitzroy Dam.

The latest round was held on January 8.
The cup was sailed under good conditions, in light and variable winds with warm temperatures.
Greg Longhurst finished first in race one on a Laser Std Olympic dinghy.
Bill Quinn followed in second place, also on a Laser Std Olympic dinghy while Owen Muyt finished third on a Finn Olympic dinghy.
Tim Vandevoort took first place in race two on a Spiral dinghy.
Patrick Lartger finished second on a Laser Std Olympic dinghy, followed by Bill Quinn in third place, also on a Laser Std Olympic dinghy.
The Southern Highlands Sailing Club will meet at Fitzroy Dam every Sunday for the duration of the spring season.
Club racing will be held every Sunday up until April.
There are normally two races starting at 1pm and 3pm.
All sailors are welcome.
Boats are handicapped according to the sailors ability.
