The team at Ray White Mittagong have joined with BDCU Alliance Bank to make sure their ‘little Ray of giving’ tradition reaches those who need it most in the community.
Ray White principal Rick Mooney said he hoped the community would embrace the giving season and dig deep for children.
“This is the second year that we’ve run a little Ray of giving, and we want 2016 to be our biggest year yet,” he said.
“When you see out Christmas tree, we urge everyone who is able to bring a gift in for those families who are less fortunate.”
Mr Mooney said the gift drive was a way to help put a smile on the face of children and families who may need a little extra cheer.
“It’s a really simple way to put a smile on the face of a young child who might otherwise go without this Christmas,” he said.
Those who wish to donate a gift can drop off the wrapped present to the Ray White team at 4a/118 Main Street Mittagong.
Donors will need to inform staff if the gift is for a boy or girl, and nominate an age group.
In 2015, more than 300 Ray White offices in Australia and New Zealand helped provide 30,000 for families.
