November 25-27, the showground hosted the Southern Highlands Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Show, and it was a sight to see.

A village of caravans and campers took up half the site, with everything from 4WDs to drink flasks on offer as goods or services.

Busking, dog sledding, the ‘Iron Summit’ (see video) and Scout activities were just a few of the other entertainments booked in.

Luxe tents, clever camp cooking gear, pet treats, and handy bits and bobs gave even the most indoor-inclined a reason to be out.
