The 2016 event attracted top names from across the Equestrian world, including renowned trainer James Cummings who returned for another year.
He claimed his second Bong Bong Cup, this time with Alfred the Great ridden by Alan Barton.
Olympians Sue Hearn and Mervyn Bennett also attended the event.
Ms Hearn recently returned to the Highlands after representing Australia in dressage at the Rio Olympics.
Mr Bennett represented Australia on multiple occasions and was part of the team that won a bronze medal for eventing in 1976 at Montreal.
The sun shone for the 2016 races but the heat was no deterrent for the close to 4500 race-goers who attended to watch the action both on and off the track.
Off the track there was plenty to see and Fashions on the Field again proved a popular event.
Both men and women got a chance to show off their race attire.
A large crowd gathered to check out some of the best dressed and cheer on their favourites.
White was a popular choice among the ladies in 2016 as was blue and lace.
Cobie Sheehan certainly stood out from the crowd and was judged to have the best hat by milliner Elizabeth Mackenzie.
A memorial seat for Rob Ritchie was unveiled overlooking the finish line and his family was on hand to present the trophy for the Bong Bong Memorial Cup.
Along with the festivities was a farewell for John and Vicki Mauger who catered their final Bong Bong event at the 2016 races.
