UOW Southern Highlands campus is part of the University of Wollongong regional campus network. It was established in 2003, using the same facilities as Moss Vale TAFE. In 2007 they opened a new building, providing local students a fully-equipped university campus.

A broad range of degrees are offered at the campus including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business, and Masters of Teaching (primary and secondary).
So far 151 students have completed their degree locally and more than 600 have completed their degree part locally.
