The Expect Respect- Keeping relationships on Par Community Golf Challenge will be held on November 19-20.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Southern Highlands Domestic Violence Forum and will line up with the White Ribbon Day.
White Ribbon Day works to prevent male violence against women.
Southern Highlands Domestic Violence Forum aims to raise awareness of what constitutes domestic and family violence and to reduce the incidence of violence, abuse and anti-social behaviour in the Southern Highlands.
On November 19 participants will be asked to wear a white ribbon. There will also be a male guest speaker at the clubhouse who will address the topic of domestic and violence.
On November 20 a 9 or 18 hole golf day will be open to all members of the community. Local agencies will display information about their services and interact with the community about family and domestic violence. A presentation will also be held to address participants about respectful relationships.
