Labor’s jobs action plan is nothing more than a “wishlist” the party has no chance of delivering for years, according to Gordon Bradbery.

“We need to remember they’re not in government to be able to do it and I’m conscious of the fact they’re not likely to be in government for another two and a half years,” the independent candidate for Wollongong said.
“They’ve actually just putting out a wishlist and there’s not substance to it.”
Cr Bradbery said Labor had held the seat of Wollongong for 25 years and felt this plan should have been something they initiated years ago.
Greens candidate Cath Blakey was pleased with some of the plan’s contents.
“The Greens welcome Labor's jobs plan for the Illawarra, especially their inclusion of the upgrades to the Mt Keira Summit Park and implementation of the Greens Jobs for the Illawarra initiative," Ms Blakey said.
“The Illawarra has been neglected under both Labor and Liberal governments, and our community needs investment in sustainable industries that will provide the jobs of the future.”
