The team took a four wicket victory over the Wingello Tigers at Bundanoon Oval.
Bundanoon was first to bat and scored 161 runs off 39.4 overs. Wingello chased the total down in 32 overs and finished with 6-162.
Bundanoon captain Daniel Stirton said Wingello’s batsmen took the game away from his team.
“They displayed some really strong batting and that’s where they got ahead of us,” he said.
Stirton commended Josh Stirton on his work in the field.
“He took a great catch for us. Everyone played well in the field though and really tried to keep on top of the ball,” he said.
The skipper also commended Jason Bentley, who top scored with 53 runs and Mitch Granger who showed great effort behind the wickets.
Depsite the loss, Stirton said it was still early season and there was still room to improve.
"It’s only round two and as soon as we build up our confidence we will have some good outcomes,” he said.
