Set in 1916 Maine, USA, King Arthur’s Socks is a one act play to be performed in Bundanoon by members of the Melting Pot Theatre company.
Director Jan Kenny described the play as a fun satire.
“This play mirrors its drama on the intricate weave of relationships in the mythical stories of King Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere,” she said.
The fully costumed play lasts 40 minutes, and follows the story of a man and a woman who are in love with one another, but cannot act on their love because they are married to others.
Its stars Miranda Kean, Patrick Brennan, Barbara Griffin and Mary Dalton.
Two performances will be held on October 15 at 12pm and 5pm in the Soldiers’ Memorial Hall, Bundanoon. The evening performance will be preceded by four 10-minute Crash Test Drama performances.
