Artisans in the Gardens will be held in the Royal Botanic Garden, displaying an eclectic range of more than 2500 pieces.
Bowral artists Sam Larwill and Heidi McGeoch both have different art styles which will be on display for the public.
Sam’s quirky works of art are designed from items ransacked from recycle centres, from old tools and farm machinery to engine parts.
His artistic collaborator and partner Heidi McGeoch prefers to draw, paint and build using clay and steel, incorporating strong colours and simple shapes.
Wildes Meadow sculptor Brooke Munro has also been chosen to show her traditional basketry techniques, such as weaving, coiling and twining, through her creations, which are primarily constructed from found objects.
Canyonleigh furniture designer Joe Vinks will have his Japanese Wabi-Sabi inspired pieces showcased in the gardens. He takes fallen timber and sculpts bespoke chairs, stands, tables, stools, racks and works of art.
The Artisans in the Gardens opening night preview will take place from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on October 14 at the Lion Gate Lodge of the gardens. Tickets are $55, or $45 for members.
The exhibition will be open each day from 10.00am to 4.00pm from October 15 to 23. All items are for sale.
