Rochaix travelled to Perth in August to play in the Australian Championships. She was selected for the team after she displayed brilliant skills, teamwork and commitment in the Australian School Girls Football team. The team will tour the UK in January 2017.
Nick Riches was named as the senior award winner for August.
Riches was announced as Athlete of the Year at the recent NSW Cerebral Palsy Sport and Recreation Awards night. This honour came in recognition of his success across many sports.
He also represented NSW at the disabled rugby league match between the NSW All Stars and the Indigenous All Stars. Since then, he was selected to play in the inaugural Country v Country Disabled Rugby League game against New Zealand in 2017.
