DEAN Anderson defeated Bob Kennett 31-30 on Wednesday September 7 at Bowral Bowling Club in the handicap singles to move into the next round.

Anderson had a solid lead 21-10 after 15 ends before a great comeback by Kennett, had him on equal terms. And then led by one shot to take the end. On the 30th and last end Anderson picked up two shots and came away with a one shot win. Greg Taylor moved into the next round with a good 31-19 win over Bruce Clynes.
