Highlands Soccer Association manager Michael Hamilton said the event would bring in a big crowd.
“Every club in the association is represented in the grand final bar one which is a great result. It’s nice to have a mix of all the teams,” he said.
The first grand finals will kick off at 8am. The Robertson Rovers Maroon will play against Moss Vale Thistle Red in the under-13s division one on David Wood 1. The division two match between the Bundanoon Rebels and Mittagong Lions Green will be played on David Wood 2.
Chevalier will face off against the Wollondilly Soldiers at 9.15am on the second field. Hamilton said the match would be one to watch. “Chevalier have been undefeated all year so I imagine the match will be very passionate and intense.”
The under-15s match between Yerrinbool Bushrangers Green and the Mittagong Lions will be played at 9.15am on David Wood 1.
Hamilton said the women’s reserve grade match between Crookwell and Moss Vale White would be another close game.
“Crookwell is another undefeated team and the players perform at a really high level. Moss Vale will give it a good crack, it will be another exciting game,” he said.
The match will be played at 10.45 on the first field.
The men’s third grade match between Bundanoon and Bowral will kick off at 11.15am on David Wood 2.
Yerrinbool finished the ordinary season at the top of the women’s premier league competition. They will face off against Moss Vale, which finished second on the ladder, at 12.45pm on the first field.
Moss Vale will play Exeter at 1.15pm on David Wood 2 to end the men’s reserve grade season.
The final match of the day will be the men’s premier league match between Marulan and Yerrinbool.
“The men’s premier league is definitely the most feisty and has the highest standards,” Hamilton said.
The game will kick off at 2.45pm on David Wood 1 and a skills acquisition program exhibition game will be held at half time.
