The John Cope Portrait Prize, alternating with the John Copes Watercolour Prize, is sponsored each year by long-time members Tim and Patricia Copes.
The prize money is donated in memory of Tim’s father John, a much-loved member of the Bowral District Art Society.
This year, the prize will be judged by National Art School teacher Noel Thurgate.
The winner will be announced at the opening of the exhibition on September 23 at 6.30pm.
The exhibition will be on display until October 3.
