The club members are selling sausage sandwiches for $4 and bacon and egg rolls for $5 in Corbett Plaza until 2pm today.

Bowral Lions Club member Tom Dolan said all money raised will be used to turf Mrs Valentine’s backyard.

“It’s a very big yard, 500 square metres in total, so we need to raise as much as we can.”

Mrs Valentine has two children under five who will benefit from the yard’s transformation. 

Mrs Valentine lost one of her arms just below the elbow, one leg near her hip, and the other leg below her knee, as well as damage to her face and skin after she contracted Toxic Shock Syndrome in April last year.
