MORE than $100,000 has been given to the community in the latest round of released funds from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.

A total of $158,446 in funds was distributed at the latest cheque presentation event held at the Goulburn Worker’s Club on August 18.
The successful recipients from the Highlands were:
- Bundanoon Community Association received $7500 to enable the group to purchase a new Grand Piano
- Rotary Club of Bowral-Mittagong received $5000 to assist with the DreamCricket sporting day which benefits students who are disabled and their families in the region
- New and Used Productions, Bowral, received $1000 to assist with purchasing art materials and other resources
- Bowral Cricket Club Inc received $1000 to enable members to update the club’s cricket kits and coaching tools
- Southern Highlands Vietnam Veterans received $1000 which they used for the 50th anniversary of Long Tan exhibition and dinner on August 18 in Mittagong
