The Spuds will advance straight to the second week of the Group 6 second division finals series.
Robertson progresses straight to the semi-final on September 3.
The side will meet the winner of this Sunday’s qualifying final between Appin and Warragamba.
Spuds coach Aaron de Jager said his side was prepared for a hard contest in week two of the finals.
“It will be tough either way facing Appin or Warragamba,” he said.
“But we are looking forward to it.”
The Spuds finished the regular season in first place on the second division ladder.
The side finished the season with 15 wins.
Robertson’s Matt Hammond finished as the division’s leading try scorer with 10 tries.
De Jager was next best for Robertson with six tries.
Teammate Paul Briggs led the competition for most goals with 27.
Briggs finished equal with Bargo’s Joshua Campbell for most points (62 points).
The Spuds head into the finals on the back of a 52-12 win over the Bargo Bunnies last Saturday.
De Jager said it was a tough clash early and his side led 14-12 at half time.
However, the Spuds found their groove in the second half and scored 40 unanswered points.
De Jager said Robertson was well led by Mitch Wright, Paul Briggs and Jake Temporali against the Bunnies.
“Bargo only had 13 players and they stuck it to us in the first half,” he said.
“But we ran away with it in the second half as they tired.”
While Appin and Warragamba slog it out this weekend, Spuds players will enjoy a mini break away from the Highlands.
De Jager said his team would head to Wollongong on Saturday morning for a training session.
“It’s a chance to do something different and we wanted to keep the boys together.”
