Moss Vale will play in the first week of the Group 6 second division finals series this weekend.
The Dragons will take on the Narellan Jets at Sid Sharpe Memorial Oval this Saturday in an elimination final.
Moss Vale finished the regular season in fifth position to book a spot in the finals.
The side progressed after winning due to a forfeit from Mt Annan last weekend.
The Dragons played 11 games in second division in 2016.
In May, the club withdrew from first grade and reserves to play in the division.
Dragons playing-coach Robbie Payne said he was proud that his team had qualified for the semi-finals.
Payne said his side was “more than capable” of making an impact in the finals.
“We did enough to sneak into the finals,” he said.
“It’s great reward for those blokes that have stood by the club this year.”
The Dragons and Jets have met twice in second division in 2016.
Moss Vale recorded a 28-4 win at Narellan Sportsground on July 10.
The sides then played out a 16-all draw when they met a fortnight later.
Payne said he expected a tough challenge on Saturday.
“Semi-finals is a different brand of footy,” he said.
“If you drop the ball, teams will make you pay for it.”
