Now the school is asking the community to help support its Positive Behaviour for Success (PBS) program.
The school will hold a trivia night next month to raise funds for the program.
PBS has been running at the school for the past four years and works to instil three core values in all aspects of school life.
At Moss Vale these values are Safe, Respectful and Responsible behaviour.
As part of the program, positive behaviour is rewarded through regular school assemblies and the Merit system.
The Vivo system- an online program which rewards students with prizes they can choose- has also been in place for the past two years.
Items range from a small box of Favourites chocolates for 100 vivo points up to a mini Ipad for 2000 vivo points.
Other popular items include makeup, EB Games vouchers, hand balls, frisbees, backpacks, Yugioh cards and bobble heads.
Students and parents can log on to their Vivo account, either online or with the app to see which teacher has rewarded a student and why.
They can then browse the Vivo shop for the rewards they would like to purchase with their points.
Students can make suggestions for the Vivo shop at anytime and are able to collect their rewards twice a week from the shop in the library where many of the rewards are on display.
The trivia night will raise money to keep the PBS program running at the school.
On September 16, the event will be held at Moss Vale Services Club from 7pm.
Tickets will cost $30 each and tables of 10 are available.
