The Blacks first grade side recorded a 56-31 win over Kiama in a high-scoring affair at Eridge Park.
The match marked the last regular round of the Illawarra District Rugby Competition’s first grade season.
Bowral started slowly and at point trailed by four tries to two during the first half.
Blacks head coach Gene Fairbanks said Kiama still held an advantage at half time.
However, the home side fired up in the second half to push on for a 25-point win.
Fairbanks said it was a pleasing result for his team.
“Kiama is a fantastic side and is unlucky not to be in the semi-finals,” he said.
“It was probably the best defence we’ve come up against this year, but we eventually broke them down.
“It was a good test before the finals.”

Three tries by centre Henry Yuill helped set up the win on Saturday.
Fairbanks said the Blacks were led by centre Justin Madden who received three players’ players points.
Returning fullback Dan Collins received two points and forward George Harrison picked up one point.
Fairbanks said other standouts included Yuill, Tim Lewis and Jack Parsons.
“The boys stayed composed and we got the tries in the second half,” he said.
“It ended up being a really good win.”
Bowral’s second grade team also prevailed on Saturday, securing a 36-14 win over Kiama.
The senior matches coincided with the club’s Family Day to celebrate its supporters and sponsors.
Fairbanks said the club hosted a large crowd at Eridge Park on Saturday.
“It was really rewarding for the guys with the anticipation of a great crowd,” he said.
The Blacks will meet Avondale in a semi-final on August 21.
