Emily Green: I think we have enough food shopping around the Southern Highlands, we don't need another!!! What about KMART!!!!! That also creates jobs and it's better then Woolworths.

Susann Crase: Ridiculous. Have just heard on the news Woolworths is closing 21 stores, 500 jobs lost. Well do we need another supermarket to open? If Woolworths goes ahead, one of the supermarkets will go.
Melanie Morschel: I live in Moss Vale and am myself a Woolworths shopper, but I don't think we need another supermarket in Moss Vale. It's not far to drive to Bowral. We need a full range Target store or Kmart, and we need the banks to return to Moss Vale so we don't have to travel to Bowral for essential services.
Penelope Lang: It's interesting to hear what people have to say! I think if it creates a bit of competition then its good for the public, and Moss Vale is expanding and becoming more upmarket, so it has to be good for the area - as long as the design and adequate parking is provided. It beats a building sitting idle!
Echelle Leguizamon: How do Moss Vale residents consider themselves a small town? The Main Street is full of businesses. Actually a much bigger town than say Tahmoor that has an Aldi, Foodworks and Woollies, and not one person complaining about choice and variety. Also not to forget another local chain four minutes away, plus an IGA eight minutes either direction, plus a Coles eight minutes away. Seems like some people just don't like anything new.
Bruce Thomas: It would be good, especially if the housing development goes ahead, Coles car park is already full. They would have to make it two traffic lanes each way under the bridge by removing some parking spaces to keep the traffic moving and a left turn only out of Lackey Road.
Izabela Simoni: Bring Kmart as well. And an Aldi. Oh, and some decent clothes shops! How about we have a shopping 'marketplace' centre? So everything is indoors, with lots of variety.
Chris Geddes: With all development happening in Moss Vegas, IGA and Coles won't feed them. The quicker Woollies, Aldi and Kmart come the better. Wake up people.
Shayley McKean: Two supermarkets in Moss Vale is enough I think. What would be great would be a supermarket up near Braemar end of Mittagong. Hate going all the way into town just for a few groceries.
