A MAN was taken to hospital after his car left the Hume Highway and landed on its roof.
The 32-year-old from the ACT attempted to merge onto the Old Hume Highway at about 8.15pm on July 22 when he lost control of his Toyota Rav 4.
The car continued for about 50 metres before it hit a large exit sign, rolled down a dirt slope, flipped onto its roof and stopped when it hit a tree.
Police spoke with the driver and carried out a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.
The man was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he was treated for injuries and underwent a blood and urine test.
Inquiries will continue into the incident.
