THE Moss Vale women's premier league football side flexed its premiership muscles on Saturday.
Moss Vale recorded a 4-0 win over Hill Top at Church Road Playing Fields.
The result strengthened Moss Vale's hold on second spot on the Highlands Soccer Association's women's premier league ladder.
Moss Vale has accumulated 25 competition points and sits just behind Yerrinbool-Bargo (27) on the ladder.
Allison Pugh scored two goals to set up Saturday's win for Moss Vale.
Helen Maddock nailed her first goal for the season while Jennifer Menzies also found the back of the net.
Moss Vale coach Bill Smillie said it was a terrific result for his side.
"We played combination football and it was a solid performance," he said.
"I think Hill Top had some players out, but they are a quick and young team.
"Besides Yerrinbool, Hill Top has been the only side to score against us this year."
Elsewhere, Robertson and Bundanoon played out a 1-all draw at Hampden Park on Saturday
Both goals were scored in the first half.
Mia Henderson found the back of the net for Robertson and Pippi Martin scored a goal for Bundanoon.
