HIGHLANDS netballers faced a tough assignment on their return to the Eridge Park courts on Saturday.
Players were greeted by cold and windy conditions for matches in the Southern Highlands Netball Association's (SHNA) competition.
It had been nearly a month since netballers had played matches in the competition due to representative duties and school holidays.
SHNA competition co-ordinator Kate Bow said it was a difficult day for all netballers on Saturday.
"It was foul weather and it got worse as the day went on," he said.
"Some shots for goal were going in all directions because of the howling winds."
However, Bow said everyone involved enjoyed the opportunity to play netball.
She said all grades resumed on the day as well as the Net, Set, Go program for juniors.
"It was a fun day and good to get back on the court," she said.
"The kids did well considering they had come back from a break and it was cold and windy."
