FAMOUS figures made an appearance in the Highlands this week.
The Family Run Education Southern Highlands (FRESH) group held a living museum for its weekly meeting.
Children researched an individual of their choice and presented a small biography of them to the group.
Many of the children were "in character" as they made their presentations.
From Robin Hood to Frida Kahlo to the Royal couple; there was a range of different personalities on show.
FRESH parent April Love said the living museum gave children the opportunity to practice their public speaking in a safe environment.
"They've done the research themselves and the idea is that they get to present in public," she said.
"They're in character so it's [also] an encouraging performance."
The group has between 30 and 40 children, who meet up each week to take part in a range of activities.
Recently the children visited the old and new Parliament Houses in Canberra as well as the national archives.
Next week they will all be contributing to a winter feast.
"We do things like Book Week and Science Week each year," Ms Love said.
"We do art days and whatever people are inspired to do."
