Council has offered free disposal of any garden waste that directly resulted from the storm.
Trees, plants and shrubs damaged or destroyed in the floodwaters will be accepted at council's Resource Recovery Centre (RRC).
Council's deputy general manager operations, finance and risk Mr Barry Paull said it was "the least council could do".
The fee-free offer is effective immediately until close of business June 13.
"It's important to remember that council's free offer only applies to green waste that has accumulated as a result of storm damage," Mr Paull said.
"It does not include waste from usual yard maintenance such as grass clippings."
The free offer is not available to commercial operators.
Residents wishing to take advantage of the offer must bring proof of identification when dropping off the debris in order to verify local residency.
The RRC is located at 177 Berrima Road, Moss Vale, and is open 7.30am to 4.30pm seven days a week.
Normally closed on public holidays, the RRC will be open June 13 from 8.00am to 4.00pm for residents wishing to drop off their green waste over the long weekend.
