For the second successive week, the Magic's youth league side won a tight contest at the Moss Vale Basketball Stadium.
The Magic recorded a 68-66 win over Penrith Panthers in the NSW Waratah youth league division one competition.
In a similar story to last game, Magic's Nick Bijzak was involved in the match-winning play.
With about six seconds left, the score was 66-all and Magic coach Kev Campbell called a timeout.
The timeout meant the Magic resumed play near half court.
The ball was passed to Bizjak, who drove the ball towards the basket.
In the process, the ball was slapped out of Bizjak's hands illegally and a goal tending call was made by the officials.
The Magic received two points to take a 68-66 advantage.
The Panthers had a shot at goal in the final seconds but missing, meaning Moss Vale held on for victory.
Campbell said it was a superb victory for the Magic.
"The last time these teams met, the Panthers won 97-40," he said.
"I am so proud of these boys - it was a 50 point turnaround for us."
Penrith again started well and led 20-12 at quarter time on Saturday night.
The Panthers extended their advantage to 38-25 at half time.
Campbell said his team didn't panic at the half-time break.
"We spoke about being more actively defensively," he said.
The Magic came out firing after the break and scored the first six points.
Moss Vale won the quarter by 25 to 17 points.
At three-quarter time, the Panthers led 55-50.
But the Magic continued to find momentum in the last quarter, overcoming the deficit to win 68-66.
Bizjak finished as Moss Vale's leading point scorer with 18, including three three-pointers.
But Campbell said the Magic's standout performers were Zac Ottosson and Connor Wroe.
"Zac made some fantastic passes and had six or seven [scoring] assists," he said.
"Connor was close to best on court, helping out on rebounds and scoring 13 points himself."
The Magic will be back at home this Sunday to face the Bankstown Bruins at noon.
