The Red Cross held two concerts during April to raise funds for the Cyclone Winston Fiji Appeal.
A jazz concert was held on April 9 and the Sacred Song concert on April 30.
On April 9, the hall at St Paul's Primary School, Moss Vale, was vibrating with jazz music performed by the local group FIVE 4 JAZZ led by John Darcy.
The variety of music included well-known numbers and people sang along and danced.
Berrima was a perfect setting for a concert of Sacred Songs on an autumn afternoon on April 30.
The program was a chronological journey from Latin music written in the 1500s through to Bach, Vivaldi, Handel and Schubert, to a modern version of The Lord is my shepherd.
Patrons were warmly welcomed at the historic church door by assistant treasurer of Red Cross Moss Vale-Berrima Branch Nola Flowers.
The Moss Vale-Berrima branch of the Red Cross thanked the efforts of members, friends and the Highlands community involved with the two concerts..
The Red Cross' Mother's Day raffle held at IGA and was also well supported by the community.
It was won by Mrs Lockley.
